In 2016 I met Jordan Carr during our time at Durham College operating as social media ambassadors for the college's marketing department. We created silly videos for the purpose of showing prospective students our way of life at school. Soon after we made a short video that went viral across Canada in the early days of Facebook video consumption called Canadian Gambling. The Nelk Boys reached out to us to collaborate as a result.

Jordan already had a social media presence to where we also made silly videos. During our door knocking video at Durham College we networked with someone who put us in touch with another influencer to collaborate with. Little did we know this networking would lead us to Viral Nation, a social media influencer advertising firm. I accompanied Jordan for the first ever meeting, not knowing about what this would eventually lead to.
Jordan met Esa Fung, an influencer at Viral Nation, and from there the rest is history. Jordan and Esa teamed up to create content along with many collaborations with Drew Scott from the Property Brothers TV show on HGTV. Shortly after Your Everyday Post Inc. was formed. Jordan and Esa headed content creation with other influencers to grow the brand while Andrew Ellis built our website with me funding the hosting, writing news articles, procuring Canadian memes, and of course, creating even more silly videos. Eventually, our competitor Narcity Media offered to buy our main Facebook page Your Everyday Canadian.
